OK - WILD, WILD, WILD guess - I've recently gotten hooked on NCIS, and for some reason I want to say Mark Harmon would be her spouse - but, then, again, I could/probably am wrong.

        But, it's a try, eh?

The guy who won in 1895 was of Irish descent.

John Wayne's wife was a dead spouse.

In the movie Hondo, he tells the woman that he had lived with the Indians and had, had an Indain wife who's nome was Destarde. But she was dead now. Killed by soldiers I believe.

Got nothing on "The Father of Golf Architecture"

Who sang the song "Wayward Wind" first. (It was a pop or hit parade version) and then who sang it next in the country / western version?

I think the pop version was that Aussie Frank Ifield who, incidentally, got to #1 in the Brit charts with "I Remember You".

Don't even think it - Frankie Lane as a pop version, Gale Storm as a hit parade version.

Gee wiz there sixtys gang. None of your guesses are even close. The pop or hit parade version (same thing) was sung by someone with the initials GG and the western version was by TR and no thats not short for trigger.

                                and thanks for not googleing
